Series Development
MBOS
During my time at Mercedes-Benz, I played an active role at multiple stages in the UX development process. Working in pre-developent in Sunnyvale and Sindelfingen, I gained a deep understanding of the premium car buyer and his habits and lifestyle. Furthermore, I scouted new technologies and translated them into a hollistic UX concept.
After pre-development I am now working on series software. As a UI lead designer I create screen designs for the various offline-, and online entertainment apps in the car.
Digital Luxury
Special Days
Luxury is about creating something unique. Digital luxury at Mercedes-Benz meant creating special moments for the customer. I designed Special Days; digital elements that enriched the UI of both the cockpit and the app on national holidays, seasons and other special days.
PRE-DEVELOPMENT
StratagY &
Concepts
Understanding the customer
During pre-development, the customer was at the center of my development efforts. I worked on market analysis and getting to know the user from a quantiative-, as well as a qualitative persepective. This resulted in a set of personas.
Customer journeys
For each of the personas, I translated needs and lifestyles into high-level user flows. I then generated use cases and concepts to best support the customer throughout the flow.
Technology mapping
I scouted start-ups and new technologies to support the concepts and use cases developed based on the high-level user flow. By mapping these technologies and their use cases to the various locations inside and outside the cockpit, I created a hollistic UX concept.
